NEWSCHOOLERS MENTOR
If you don't know who Tanner Hall is, I don't think you can really can call yourself an avid skier. The kid had tuned pro by the time he was 10. By 16, he had skied for TGR, Poor Boyz, and Team 13. He’d also placed 5th at the US Freeskiing Open, 1st at the Jim Moran Benefit Contest, and won the Superfly Slopestyle in Whistler. He could pull mistys, switch backs, 360's, 540's and 720's and more with the big boys. Named by Powder Magazine as one of the 20 Leaders of the Next Regime of Skiing. By 17, he’d taken the gold medal in the Ski Big Air competition at the 2001 Winter X Games, 1st place finishes for Ski Big Air at the US Open and the Red Bull Huckfest, as well as two silver medal wins in Big Air and Quarterpipe at the 2001 Japan Core Games. He has in, and ben in more movies than Russell Crowe. Tanner hall is the best in the game right now from a newschooles point of view. Just watchin him makes you want to excell.

Quote
"Most professional skiing today is done in the park and the halfpipe. There are a lot of riders who can do that, but it's not really skiing. I want to see those guys get on bigger skis and go out and ski." (FREESKIER Magazine, December 2001).
